ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES: Comprehensive Asbestos Survey

The Veteran Administration (VA) awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) A-E Contract to Rodriguez, Peterson & Porras (RPP) Architects with EBS Engineering, Inc. (EBS), as subconsultant. Using the contract, VA Medical Center in Miami retained EBS to perform a comprehensive asbestos survey of its facilities in accordance with EPA Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA).

The VA Medical Center located at 1201 NW 16 Street in Miami consists of a 12-story main facility and nursing home facility with over 1.5 million square feet. This project was meticulously planned and executed to suit a Healthcare facility’s need for privacy and their regulatory obligation for employees’ awareness.
