EBS Engineering, Inc. was contracted by Miami Mar, Inc., the current owner of the property to perform a 2-year re-evaluation of the property for compliance with HUD Guidelines. The apartments complex completed in 1968, consisted of 100 residential dwelling units in 10 buildings and one service building. A visual assessment inside and outside of those dwelling units and common was conducted by EBS staff.

The visual assessment documented the buildings’ condition and painted surfaces condition particularly those with lead-based paint. Photographs documenting observed conditions of painted surfaces were also taken using digital cameras. EBS prepared a report documenting the findings of the visual assessment including photographs.
