CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT

Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) as part of its long-term capital improvement program awarded a contract to a design-build team for the extension of the major east-west SR-836 Expressway in Miami-Dade County.

The $140 million project will extend the Expressway from NW 107 Avenue to NW 137 Avenue including NW 137 Ave from 12 Street to SW 8 Street. MDX also contracted Metric Engineering, Inc. (Metric) to provide, construction engineering inspection oversight for the expressway extension project with EBS Engineering, Inc. as a subconsultant.
