This pump station is located NE of the Historic Opa-Locka City Hall in Opa-Locka. Pump Station #11A was under conditional moratorium by the County due to non-compliance with County Standards. The station receives sanitary sewer discharges from Pump Stations #8, 9, 10, and 11D. It is the second-largest sanitary sewer pump station in the city.

The project consisted of rehabilitation of the existing pump station and replacement with a modern submersible pump and generator/diesel pump. The design elements including data collection, data analysis, design of submersible pump station, hydraulic modeling analysis, construction plans and documents preparation through construction phase services, commissioning, etc.
