CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT

Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) contracted EBS Engineering, Inc. (EBS) as prime to provide Construction Engineering Management Services for the duration of the projects. EBS was responsible for providing inspectors and construction managers to ensure compliance with the individual project plans and specifications, and Miami-Dade County and FHWA/FEMA standards and procedures. The projects of this contract was funded mostly by FEMA in response to Hurricane Irene in 1999 and the “No Name Storm” in 2000.
