CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT

The City of North Miami roadways and drainage infrastructure suffered damages due to the flooding experienced during Hurricane Irene in 1999 and the “No Name Storm” in 2000. These two storm events resulted in the need to repair the damage and make drainage improvements including resurfacing and reconstruction of roadways, retrofitting of existing drainage systems, etc.

The projects were funded by FEMA. EBS was contracted by the City to provide Construction Engineering Inspection and Plans Review Services for the duration of the project. EBS provided Inspectors and one Senior Project Engineer to ensure compliance with the individual project plans and specifications, FHWA/FEMA and Miami-Dade County standards and procedures.
