Accumulated dusts on the floor and other surfaces in the walk-in-oven area of Building 704 were sampled and found to contain asbestos. There was the need to clean up the area (abatement) and renovate the building for re-occupancy in accordance with all the applicable federal, state and laws and regulations.

EBS was contracted by MDAD to conduct pre-renovation asbestos survey, prepare plans and technical specifications for the removal of the ACMs, and provide project management services for the project. Building 704 is large building occupied by many commercial tenants, only a portion of it was affected by this project.
